The selection committee will read each essay with a particular interest in how you relate your chosen subject to your own educational journey. For example, have you had your own experience with the judicial system? If so, how did funding or your need for funding impact your experience? Does your chosen topic relate in any way to your field of study or your future profession? Please don’t just tell us what you think we want to hear. We want to learn what you think! We are looking for insights into how we can better help others.
All essays submitted for the scholarship will be evaluated for plagiarism and duplicate submissions to other scholarships, both of which are disqualifying. To avoid disqualification, please write an original essay on one of the provided topics above.

More About Tribeca Capital Group
As a pioneer in pre-settlement lawsuit funding, Tribeca Capital Group has helped hundreds of individuals acquire cash advances on their pending litigation compensation. With this money, our clients have avoided foreclosures and evictions, paid for essential medical care, repaired damaged property, and seen their lawsuits through the months and years needed to reach just conclusions. We believe that pre-settlement funding makes the civil justice system more accessible to all.
Tribeca’s lawsuit loans are structured as non-recourse loans, so the loan poses no risks to the borrower’s personal finances. We include no credit check, income verification, or asset analysis in our loan applications. The quality of the plaintiff’s case is our only consideration in evaluating a client’s application. And, since the loan is non-recourse, if the client loses their case — they do not have to repay the loan!
It is our goal to provide the money a plaintiff needs to secure their rightful compensation. We also want the client to be able to keep as much of their compensation as possible. This is why we charge only a low, simple interest rate and have no hidden fees.
If you are the plaintiff in an active lawsuit and need funding to continue with your case, Tribeca Lawsuit Loans can help! Feel free to call us at 866-388-2288 with questions about applying for a lawsuit loan, or just visit our Apply Now page to get started! We can have $500 – $2 million deposited into your account within 24-48 hours!
